Why is my speeding ticket no longer on my record?

About a year ago when i was a minor i got a speeding ticket from a state trooper in missorui on my way home to the south. I paid the fine and everything was done. However recently ive been trying to get in the ARMY and my recuriter said that no speeding tickets were found on my record and that i should not say I have one because the MEPS would freak when i would say i have a ticket and yet there is no ticket on my record. Why is it no longer on there? or was it ever there?
