Why is my net speed sooo crappy?

is it cable or dsl? uming its cable, your neighbors and you share the same connection, causing your speed to drop signifigantly when heavy users are on. try your connection late at night if you can, as not many users will be online. if its dsl, your phone lines might be of low quality, causing speed to drop.
