Something easy/crafty to make while awaiting surgery.?

Hi! Looking for ideas on som easy and fun little projects while I am awaiting my Total Knee Replacement. The only activity I can (barely) do is float around in our pool but can't do it 24/7. I like to knit, crochet, etc. Have 8 year old granddaughter. Don't have a sewing machine. Yesterday I stitched a quilt with a dust ruffle around it for her Barbie doll bed. Made matching pillows. That was so much fun I made 2 adult size pillow (by hand) out of some Daffy Duck remnants I had around. I have all sorts of odds and ends, beads and yarn,etc. Any cute and/or fun activities anyone could suggest? This is a very boring time. Thanks so much.
