I cant find my gas meter, just moved into a flat?

I have just moved into a flat and it has a gas boiler, only thing is i cant find the meter for it. We have a meter for the electric which is a key meter that you top up whenever you need to. We have looked everywhere and can not find a meter anywhere. Will there even be one?
