I am doing a report about Florida and am doing a section on early inhabitants and their cultural contributions?

I am doing a report on Florida and I am now on a section about Exploration. I have to write about the early inhabitants and how they contributed to the culture of the early Europeans or whoever. I have no idea what to write and it doesn't have anything like that in an encyclopedia or any of my florida books. I have already searched multiple things on the internet too. Any information would be appreciated. Please help!
