Convincing parents to buy a rabbit?

I am 14 and I want to convince my parents to buy me a rabbit. I have a job currently making 40 dollars average a month. I have lots of space in my room with very little furniture to chew on or such like that. Can anyone who has a rabbit or has any experience with rabbits tell me how it is to take care of a rabbit and litter-train exc. I have already read up on facts about the caging, dietary, costs, veterinary behaviours. Also, what are some good ways to convince your parents to get you a rabbit? Thanks on any comment!
