Can I write my book without it being compared?

Anyone who writes a book will be compared to other works. Yours probably will be compared to Twilight, no matter how different your plot is. Don't even worry about that. There were plenty of vampire books before Twilight and plenty more to come. People need to understand that Twilight didn't start the whole vampire book thing, they just started the interest in vampires. So write your story and I will gladly follow it, because it honestly sounds really interesting. Good luck!
