How do I deal with my ually inappropriate father-in-law?

My husband and I have been married for five years and in that time his dad has said things that really make me uncomfortable. (ex: your **** look nice today. you really fill out those jeans.) I can always feel him watching me. He only lives five minutes away, so he is always dropping by unexpectedly. If the door is locked he just lets himself in with the key my husband gave him. He even picked up the necklace that I've had since I got married, like he had never seen it before, and wouldn't let go of it when I tried to pull away, just so he could keep staring down at my . I recently found out that he propositioned my ex-sister-in-law, since she wasn't married to his son anymore, he thought they should work out a ual arrangement! I've told my husband and he says to just ignore his dad. My husband did mention to him why I was pissed off and my father-in-law got kinda pissed off and since then I am doing everything I can to avoid him. HELP!!
